Bonnie A. MacAllister, Officiant

Bonnie is a Licensed Minister in the State of Ohio and actively practices as an Officiant in the Central Ohio area. Bonnie custom designs her wedding ceremonies to bring the personal and unique qualities of Brides and Grooms to the forefront by administering sophisticated, elegant and professionally delivered ceremonies. She practices in selected venues at the request of her Brides and Grooms, and also administers wedding ceremonies at the ‘Chapel of Rings and Roses’ in Dublin, Ohio. Her strong background in marketing has been one of her greatest assets in creating personalized wedding ceremonies for discerning couples who desire the highest quality in memorable wedding services.

A life-long resident of Columbus, Ohio, Bonnie graduated from Upper Arlington High School, attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, where she studied Marketing and fine Arts. She received her Bachelors Degree in Applied Business Science and Real Estate from Hondros College, in Columbus, Ohio.

Bonnie was the first woman to receive the Ohio Small Business Person of the Year Award in 1978. Bonnie was honored at a White House ceremony hosted by President Jimmy Carter and Senator John Glenn in 1978. She placed 5th in the nation for entrepreneurial innovation, and was named on of Ohio’s Top Ten Business Women. She has become a sought-after speaker and advocate for women in business as well as a guest on TV programs such as Good Morning America, AM Chicago and PM Magazine. She has been published in The Wall Street Journal, Money Magazine, Business Week, Success Unlimited, Ohio Magazine, and other business journals.

She is President of Bonnie Mac, Inc., and the licensed Broker for the MacAllister Real Estate Group. She has been helping homebuyers and property owners reach their goals for the past 21 years, and is also actively involved in commercial projects in the Columbus, Ohio area.

Bonnie is a member of the Dublin Christian Church, a member in good standing of The Universal Life Church, and has two sons. She is also a member of the National Association of Realtors, Ohio Association of Realtors, Columbus Board of Realtors, a past member of the Independent Brokers Association, International Franchise Association, The Columbus Symphony Group, The Fashion Group of Columbus, and The Scioto Country Club. She has been a breeder of show quality dogs, and is an avid supporter of Chinese Shar Pei rescue. She is a past member of the Chinese Shar Pei Club of America, the American Kennel Club, and the Central Ohio Kennel Club.
